Fundraise for SU2C: Join Team SU2C
Can't Stand Still? If you're already registered for a public race or competition, you can put that hard work to good use by raising money for SU2C. It doesn't matter if its a marathon, a 5K walk, or a surf tournament - you can turn it into a fundraiser.
Everybody Wins. In the race to raise funds for cancer research, there are no losers. Your efforts help bring together the best of the cancer research community to find answers. And if you do win your competition, you'll feel even better about your accomplishment.
Now the Easy Part. Once you're signed up, we'll provide what you need to win at fundraising. Your online page comes with templates for spreading the word, asking for donations and more.

* We're scoring this as high effort, but that's because of the athletic part you plan to do anyway! Thanks for donating your sweat!

SU2C Thanks Mick Donoff
Mick Donoff has amazed and impressed us with his dedication to helping fund cancer research by riding his bike across the country. Mick found a group that runs rides and signed on for a big one.
Here are Mick's thoughts on what motivates him:
"Over the last decade, many of my close friends and family members have died or suffered from cancer. I wanted to do something significant to help find cures. To that end, the primary goal for riding solo across the United States is to raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer.
Of course, the ride itself has been on my bucket list for quite some time. I am so grateful to have had a wonderful healthy life with family, friends and my great wife Sharon, that I wanted to celebrate my 70th birthday riding across this beautiful country raising money for cancer."
Here's Why It Matters: Funding Collaborative Research
Stand Up To Cancer brings together talented scientists and doctors from different institutions to collaborate on Dream Teams.
The goal: Speed up the discovery of new therapies across all cancer types, and get them to patients.
So far, SU2C has funded 20 Dream Teams, 6 Translational Research Grants, and 46 Innovative Research Grants.
We're getting results. Results like a new first-line therapy for advanced pancreatic cancer. And expedited FDA approval of a treatment for advanced breast cancer. SU2C delivers on its commitment to move promising work from the lab bench to the patient's bedside within three years.
"It's the best dollar spent in this country for support of cancer research and benefit of patients"
